THE YOUNG FAMILY - Pastor Brian, Ellanie, Joshua, & Eliana
Senior Pastor Brian Young has been involved in the work of the Lord all of his life and accepted his call to preach at the age of 15. His initial sermon was entitled “It’s Time to Work.” In keeping with that message, he has traveled up and down the eastern seaboard of the United States and has traveled to Jamaica, Mexico and Africa preaching the Word.
The Lord has used Brian as a Youth Pastor, Evangelist, and Pastor for many crusades and revivals; and for many years, as a popular Christian Camp Counselor. Brian’s calling is to minister not only to the faithful and to unbelievers but also to the broken, beaten and battered. He has held services, seminars, conferences, revivals, and crusades in which God has been evidenced by miracles, signs and wonders.
One of the features of Brian’s ministry is the incorporation of costumes used in mime or as a clown to help reach young and old alike with the message of the Lord. Brian also uses costumes in character skits that present the Word to audiences of all ages. These activities along with his outgoing and energetic enthusiasm are evidence of Proverbs 17:22 (KJV) “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones” and have proven effective in his ministry.
Brian is married to Ellanie Young and they have two children, Joshua David, and Eliana Elise. Their children are a testimony to the fact that “Every good and perfect gift is from above” James 1:17 (KJV). The spirit of the Lord is working through Pastor Brian and his family, and in their daily lives. Brian and Ellanie felt and accepted the call of God to establish Love, Grace, and Mercy Church in May 2015. To God Be The Glory!

Youth Pastor Shawn Richmond & Sis. Kelly
Pastor Shawn Richmond has followed Gods calling to serve, from his 20-year career in the Marine Corps to currently serving as the youth pastor at Love, Grace and Mercy Church. Pastor Shawn feels God has called him to impact others through Christ the way he was through his family and growing up in his youth group.
He grew up in church and his faith is very important to him, as is God, Country, Family, oh and sports (particularly University of Tennessee sports). He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Liberty University. So, he pulls for the Liberty Flames also. He is currently the Athletic Director at Liberty Christian Academy in Richlands, NC where he manages the athletic department, coaches Baseball and teaches Bibles classes.
Shawn is married to Kelly Richmond of Jacksonville; they have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Patrick, is serving in the Marine Corps and is married to Destiny Richmond and they have 2 boys, Cooper 6 and Sage 2. Katie, is married Michael Humphrey and they live and work in South Carolina. Alex, is serving in the Air Force and is married to Mackenzie Ripolio. Ethan is the youngest and is a student at Liberty University.
This world is not getting better and I believe young people need hope and a way to know Jesus. I want to serve God and have a positive effect on young people. I try to set that Christian example with anyone I meet. I go back to those words my granddad told me "remember who you are and where you come from" and I pray and dive into scripture daily to ensure I am well equipped for anything this world will throw at me.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
